After thinking recently about branding myself and getting better at social networking stuff, I’ve decided to combine my resume site with AudeoGuy.com to create a sort of Resume’/Portfolio site. I hope to improve on and continue to update my personal blog at UnseenReveal.com. Please bear with me as I set some things up on both sites. I’m transitioning from hosted WordPress to Tumblr, and I’ll be playing around with some design things. Eventually, the blog posts you see on this page will probably not be here. I’m also debating whether or not to switch my twitter back to @AudeoGuy instead of @JeremyRMcK (When I switched, I created another account to keep my AudeoGuy name safe. HA!). We’ll have to see. Hello, I’m the AudeoGuy. I’m not sure why I still call myself that, other than the fact that NO ONE uses this username spelled like this (audEoguy). I don’t do nearly as much work in the live sound field than I used to. I’m mainly involved in lighting these days since my job has morphed a bit over the last 5 years. But we’ll have to save that for another time, otherwise my first post will be 10 pages long, and will consist of an abbreviated auto-biography.
This blogging thing….
So I’ve tried on and off over the years to blog a bit, and for a number of reasons, I haven’t stuck to it. But I really think keeping up with it will be beneficial for a number of reasons. I think it will allow me to vent my frustrations a bit and possibly reduce stress. Hopefully it will also help me organize my thoughts at the end of the day.
I happened to be cleaning out my documents folder yesterday, and ran across a list of personal goals that I made for myself back in 2007. Now this list was meant to be goals I wanted to accomplish IN 2007 lol. But that apparently didn’t happen, and it was a bit upsetting for me. So I’m hoping this blog can serve to help keep me accountable. I think I’ll end up posting some of those goals on an about me page here on this blog. When I do, I’ll come back and list those here.
